Jesus commanded us to “go and make disciples of all nations,” and at Herman Missionary Baptist Church, we take that seriously—both across the street and around the world.
Shoebox Ministry
Each year, we come together as a church family to fill and send Christmas shoeboxes to children in Africa—a tangible expression of God’s love and generosity. These boxes are packed with toys, school supplies, hygiene items, and a gospel message, bringing hope to kids in need.
What We Collect Each Quarter

GLOBAL MISSIONS
We’re blessed to support missionaries serving globally, including the regions of Africa and Romania, and we also partner with local missionaries making an impact in their own communities. As part of the Baptist Missionary Association (BMA), we contribute to a broader network of mission work around the world—supporting church planting, discipleship, and humanitarian aid.
FOOD PANTRY & CLOTHES CLOSET
At Herman Missionary Baptist Church, we believe in meeting both spiritual and physical needs in our community.
That’s why we open our Food Pantry and Clothes Closet on the last Saturday of every month at 8:00 AM.
We offer groceries, clothing, and a warm meal—free of charge—to anyone who could use a helping hand. Whether you're in a tough season or just trying to make ends meet, you are welcome here.
No sign-up required—just come as you are.
